Genie Joins Doss

Our recent Series A round marks the start of a steep inflection curve, building on our initial offering with customers like Kahawa, Spread the Love and Noodles. Today, we’re excited to announce that Genie is joining Doss, infusing our platform and company with deep e-commerce expertise. Genie’s founder, Sebastiaan Debrouwere, also joins as Head of Partnerships & Ecosystem to supercharge partner-led growth.

Genie built a phenomenal product that turns operations into an engine of profitable growth for e-commerce brands. Their inventory management platform served over 300 Shopify stores. In May 2025 alone, its recommendations drove over $18 million in supplier orders across nearly 20,000 suppliers, all with onboarding in under five minutes. Features like real-time analytics, automated purchase orders, and intelligent forecasting earned the trust of fast-growing brands, many now migrating to Doss.

Seb’s journey - from building supply chains for Circ overseas, to investing in operations software as a VC at Balderton Capital, to founding Genie in 2022 - mirrors our commitment to solving complex operational challenges for real-world businesses.

This move aligns perfectly with our post-Series A momentum as we double down on strong partnerships that are key to our mission. Seb will lead our partner programs, build deep ecosystems of operations experts, software partners and integrators, and accelerate time-to-value - driving faster execution toward world-class ops for our growing customer base.
