Introducing the Next Generation of our AI-Native Operations Platform

Four years ago, we set out to build software that helps companies grow instead of getting in their way. Since then, DOSS has become the source of truth for how products, orders, inventory and dollars move through the brands we work with. Today, we're taking DOSS from the source of truth to the place your team runs the business from.

The release includes three major announcements. Dynamic Apps give your team a new way to see and act on the business, a rebuilt Product Suite covers everything from procurement to finance, and the next evolution of Dossbot, our AI copilot, helps you shape DOSS around the way you work. All of it is live today, and DOSS customers are already using it.

Software should keep up with your business, not hold it back

The last generation of operations and ERP software created more problems than it solved. Reports came in a fixed format, automation was hard-wired into the system, and every change meant hiring consultants for a project that could stretch on for months. By the time a traditional ERP went live, the business it had been set up for had often already moved on. That gap is a big reason why 55–75% of ERP projects run over budget, run late or fall short of what was promised.

Operations teams feel this every day. When we surveyed 230 operations and supply chain leaders for our 2026 CPG Operations Benchmark Report , they told us 39% of their workday goes to manual data entry. The average team juggles four different tools just to launch a single product, and nearly as many teams run their work out of spreadsheets (29%) as out of a dedicated ERP (31%). More than one in three leaders said they had made a significant business decision in the past year based on data that later turned out to be outdated or wrong.

These teams know exactly what they want, but they just can't seem to get their systems to do it, so they fill the gaps with spreadsheets and workarounds. The result looks like a patchwork quilt, when what teams really need is something closer to LEGO, where pieces snap together and come apart cleanly.

So we asked a simple question: what if going from an idea on the whiteboard to a real process running in your system took a couple of days, instead of a couple of years? The next generation of DOSS is our answer.

Dynamic Apps: where your team goes to work

Dynamic Apps are workspaces that bring all of your company's data into one place, where you can see what's happening and act on it right away. They work like a dashboard and a command center rolled into one, and every team can have its own. Leadership can open a Command Center to see how the whole company is performing. A buyer can plan materials in a Procurement Hub, and a support team can handle any problems from an Order Triage queue.

You don't need a developer to build one. You can start from a ready-made app, or simply describe what you need to Dossbot, our AI copilot, and it will build the view for you. From there, you keep refining it in plain language until it fits the way your team works. A finance lead might ask for a view of margins by product for the next board meeting, while an operations manager might want a daily list of orders that are at risk of shipping late.

Our customers are already using Dynamic Apps in ways we didn't predict. One coffee roaster wanted to understand exactly how much finished coffee each roast produced, so it built a view that tracks production yield for every roast, down to the individual batch of beans. Another customer was tired of approval requests getting buried in email. Now the team reviews and prioritizes purchase order and invoice approvals from a view of their inbox inside DOSS, and sends replies without ever switching tools.

The even better news? Your customizations keep working when DOSS gets better. Every DOSS module is built on the same Dynamic Apps foundation, so you can shape DOSS around how your business runs today and still receive every upgrade we ship tomorrow.

Product Suite 2.0: everything from purchase order to point of sale

Alongside Dynamic Apps, we rebuilt our core modules to help brands grow, control costs and scale without adding headcount. Every module shares one live record of the business, so when something changes in one place, everyone sees it everywhere.

  • Procurement: DOSS suggests purchase orders based on what you have on hand, what you'll need and how long suppliers take to deliver. AI reads packing slips and checks them against orders and invoices for you.
  • Inventory: You can see every unit across every warehouse, 3PL and co-manufacturer in one real-time view, and trace any product back to the batch it came from.
  • Orders: Orders from your website, marketplaces, wholesale accounts and retail partners all land in one place, and DOSS routes each one to the right warehouse.
  • Finance & Accounting: You can see the true cost and margin of every product, and DOSS syncs those numbers with the accounting software your team already uses.
  • Unified Master Data: Every product, supplier, customer and location stays consistent across all of your systems, so nobody is working from an old copy.
  • Build Your Own Module: If your business needs something we haven't built, you can create it yourself, whether that's a tool for one team, a specific business process or an analysis you run every month.

Live in months, not years

Even great software can't help you if it takes two years to switch on. A typical ERP rollout takes 12–16 months, and many teams spend that time watching the business they planned for change underneath them. DOSS customers go live in four to six months, because our modules come pre-configured and our Forward Deployed Services team does the setup work right alongside you.

DOSS also connects to the partners and tools you already rely on, so you aren't starting from scratch. Once you're live, you stay in control. When a brand adds a new sales channel or signs on a new warehouse, it can adapt DOSS in a matter of hours, on its own or with our team, without kicking off another implementation project.

Real results from growing brands

The best proof of what this release can do comes from the brands already running on DOSS.

  • Verve Coffee was struggling with online orders that weren't grouped into batches for production, which made up 30% of its direct-to-consumer orders. After moving to DOSS, that number fell to just 1%, and the manufacturing team got back more than 20 hours a week. Verve put that time toward growing its retail business, confident that DOSS could take on new warehouses, purchase orders and invoices without slowing the team down.
  • Snackwise used to spend hours getting invoices out the door. With DOSS, the team now invoices 95% faster, which means they’re paid sooner and fewer hours go to paperwork.
  • Spread the Love cut the time it spends processing orders by 92%. Work that once took a team member most of the morning now happens in minutes.
  • Mezcla doubled the number of purchase orders it can process, so buying more ingredients to meet demand no longer means hiring more people to manage the paperwork.

Watch the launch

In the launch video, Wiley Jones shares the story behind the next generation of DOSS and what it means for your team.

Where we're headed

Every brand we work with eventually hits the same moment. A big new retail order arrives, a new warehouse comes online or a new product launches, and the question becomes whether the systems behind the business can keep up. Getting that order out the door shouldn't depend on a spreadsheet or a consulting project that takes a year.

This release is the result of four years of work toward that goal. It's available today, and it's already live with DOSS customers, and there's much more to come. We can't wait to see what you build with it.
